GP Soc

The Southampton University General Practitioner’s Society is run by medical students for medical students, who all have an interest in finding out more about what it is like to be a GP. General practice is a rewarding career choice, not only in terms of continuity of care but it is also extremely varied, challenging and flexible. The committee aim to hold events throughout the year where GP’s can share their working experiences and explain the current training pathway. We also hold mock OSCE stations for 3rd year medical students, giving you the opportunity to practice relevant clinical skills in time for OSCEs.
